Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 12, 2026
RoofInspect AI ("we," "us"), a service of Visual Stories by Anthony based in Atascocita, Texas, provides drone roof inspection services and this website (roofinspect.ai). This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Booking and contact information you submit through our forms: name, email address, phone number, property address, property details (type, roof age), scheduling preferences, and any notes you provide.
- Inspection imagery and data we capture during a booked inspection: aerial photographs and video of the roof and immediate property exterior, along with GPS coordinates and timestamps embedded in that imagery.
- Basic technical data collected automatically by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and performance, such as IP address and browser type. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
- Website usage data from our analytics tools, described in the next section.
Analytics, cookies, and session recording
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use this website so we can improve it. Clarity records how visitors interact with our pages — clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, which pages are visited, and general device and location information (country/region, not a street address). It also produces anonymized playbacks of those interactions and aggregate heatmaps.
Clarity is configured to mask text that you type. We use this to fix confusing layouts and broken pages — not to identify individuals — and we do not combine it with your booking information. Microsoft may use the data it collects in accordance with its own privacy statement.
We also use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and search terms bring people here. Unlike Clarity, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognize a returning visit. It reports to us in aggregate — visit counts, page popularity, general location, and how people found the site — not as a list of identifiable individuals, and it is not connected to your booking or inspection records.
If you'd rather not be included, use a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts, install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, or contact us and we'll be glad to help.
How we use it
- To schedule, perform, and deliver the inspection and report you requested.
- To communicate with you about your booking, report, or inquiry.
- To document roof condition — GPS-tagged, timestamped imagery is the core of the report product you're purchasing.
- To improve our damage-detection technology. Inspection imagery may be used to train and refine our computer-vision models; when used this way, imagery is not linked to your name or contact details.
- To send occasional service updates if you signed up for them (such as contractor portal early access). No spam, and you can opt out anytime.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
- We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing.
- We do not capture imagery beyond what the inspection requires, and we do not intentionally photograph people, vehicles' license plates, or neighboring interiors. Incidental capture of adjacent property may occur at the edges of flight paths; it is not analyzed or published.
Who processes your data
We use a small set of service providers to run this website and business: Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Railway (contractor portal hosting and database), FormSubmit (relays our web form submissions to our email), Google Workspace (email), Zoho Books (invoicing/accounting), Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics (website analytics). Each receives only what's needed to do its job.
Sharing your report
Your inspection report belongs to you. We share it with you and anyone you direct us to share it with (such as your insurance adjuster, real estate agent, or contractor) — and no one else. If a contractor or property manager orders an inspection of a property, the report goes to the ordering customer.
Retention
We retain booking records and reports so you can request copies later and so repeat inspections can be compared over time. If you'd like your personal information or imagery deleted, email us and we'll remove it, except where we're required to keep records (e.g., invoices for tax purposes).
Your choices
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your information.
- Opt out of any non-essential emails.
For any of these, contact [email protected] or call (346) 704-1112.
Children
Our services and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
